As you can tell, our developers are working hard to bring the most-requested features to Common Curriculum. We are committed to making Common Curriculum the most powerful lesson planners for all teachers. This week, we’ve made some dynamic changes to cards, the building block of all Cc lesson plans.

1. Add or remove standard cards

Do you want separate standard cards for two different sets of standards? Do you want to remove the standards card from a class completely? You can now do this! Add or remove a standard card to your lesson plans or template today!

2. Control your standards card like any other card

  • Add standard documents that add more information to the standards you are using.
  • Leave comments about standards to help your team include all the right standards in their lesson plans.
  • Move from standards from day to day to accommodate changes.

3. Control the color of your card title

We are the first to admit that we should have made this feature available years ago. After all, complete control over the customization of lesson plans is what we are most known for. But as of today, you can finally control the color of the card title. You can either do this on your template page and change the color of the title in all unedited lesson plans, or you can change the color from the lesson planning page to change an individual lesson.

Suggest more improvements today!

We’re hoping to make more improvements to cards soon. If you have suggestions or ideas, let us know on our suggestions page: https://commoncurriculum.com/ideas. We read your thoughts every day!
