Common Curriculum, the best online lesson planner in the world, now works seamlessly with Google Classroom! You’ll be amazed at how much time you save and how prepared you feel when you write your Google Classroom posts in the same place as your lesson plans.

Here’s why you should try Common Curriculum alongside Google Classroom:

  • Simplify your planning routine by writing your Google Classroom assignments, materials, and announcements inside your Cc lessons.
  • Make your Google Classroom posts a seamless part of your lesson planning template.
  • Save time by scheduling the same Google Classroom post for multiple classes at one time.
  • Simplify your Google Classroom due dates with Cc’s easy-to-use options like Same Day or Next Friday.

Create a Google Classroom Post from inside a Cc lesson!

Just click Add Card and then Add Google Classroom Card inside any lesson in Common Curriculum, and finally choose Assignment, Material, or Announcement. That creates a draft Google Classroom card at the bottom of your lesson (don’t worry, it won’t post to Classroom until you schedule it). Click on the card to give it a title, points, and attachments:

Note: Google Classroom Questions are coming soon.

Add Google Classroom Posts to your lesson template!

Once you’ve added Google Classroom to a few lessons, you might want them to show up every day, without having to add them. For example, maybe you want a Google Classroom card called Homework at the end of each lesson. Well, you can do that!

Just click Settings, Edit Templates, and then Edit next any template to add Google Classroom cards to it.

Let Common Curriculum Handle Scheduling and Due Dates for You

Once you’ve written your Google Classroom card, just click Schedule next to any class (yes, you can schedule for multiple classes on the same card). No need to look up dates on a calendar: your assignment will simply post to Google Classroom on the date of the lesson its a part of. Just click Update to save it!

Finally, you can set different classes to have different due dates. And if you use Cc’s handy magic due dates, like “Same Day” or “Next Friday”, Cc will figure out all the due date math for you!

Magically adjusting the dates on a Google Classroom Card

Because Google Classroom cards work just like other cards in Cc, their scheduled date and due dates automatically update when you move them on the calendar! It’s like magic!
